World’s thinnest phone charger is size of half a credit card

If powerbanks aren’t cutting it for you, here’s something to look forward to – the world’s thinnest wall charger for your handphone.

Made by Kado and featured at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas, US, the basic model is just over half the size of your average credit card. And it is about as thick as three cards.

The ‘fuller’ model comes with a power cable that is the size of a credit card.

All this can easily fit into a standard men’s wallet.

There is also a laptop-charging version.

The price for this convenience – S$70+ for the phone charger, and S$100 for the laptop charger.

It is expected to hit stores later this year but its launch model is only compatible with power points commonly found in the US, Japan, Canada, and Mexico.

We might need to wait a bit longer for a version that fits electrical power sockets in Singapore and Malaysia.
